Alphamin Resources is involved in multiple community projects from their exploration camp in Bisie. Since they began exploration they have started several community projects in order to bring a better life for surrounding villages and local workers.
These included the channelling of clean water, the construction of toilets, the establishment of a small clinic providing free medical treatment for local workers, as well as for some local residents, and the distribution of materials to help repair homes which were affected by a severe storm.
The medical clinic treats physical injuries and illnesses, the most common being malaria. Medical services are provided free of charge to local workers and are located in a prime location to ensure workers aren’t forced to walk vast distances in order to receive essential medical assistance.
Alphamin Resources is providing many beneficial services within the local community and as a result local families are experiencing higher standards of living.
The resource drilling program of Alphamin Resources Bisie Tin Project is now into its second month with 925 meters of a 3,695 meter program completed. The program is running within budget and has produced some of the strongest tin mineralisations we have seen today.
As drilling progresses the geological model is becoming stronger and Alphamin’s confidence in improving a higher grade significant tin resource is growing.
Drill hole BGC018 recently intersected a broad zone approximately 20 meters thick with strong visible tin mineralisation with tin oxide banes up to 60 centimeters thick. These are very exciting times for Alphamin Resources and the project is looking to live up to the expectations of being one of the highest grade tin prospects under exploration anywhere in the world.
Alphamin Resources is committed to working on several community support programs. They are creating jobs for the local population as well as providing toilets and watering points which involve damning the streams and constructing water outlet points. These actions are providing easily accessible clean water to the local villages. Overall these beneficial initiatives are a clear indication of Alphamin Resources cause for helping local communities and promoting sustainable coexistence between their activities and the local families living near their operations.
The first phase of Alphamin Resources diamond drilling program is progressing very well with not only high grade tin mineralisation but base metals including copper, lead, zinc as well as silver intercepted in drill holes as well.
The mineralised system has been defined over a distance of 800 meters with all but one of the 16 drill holes completed today intercepting mineralisation. Ongoing drilling continues to expand the known extent of mineralisation both laterally and vertically in what is turning out to be a very exciting polymetalic.
In addition to the drilling program the 600 sample saw sampling program has been completed. The results have highlighted 3.8 kilometers of aluminous lead and copper in soils. As the lead anomaly is still open, a follow up program is designed for the southern area to extend the coverage for a further 4 kilometers to the south. Early drilling of the led anomaly has intercepted copper, zinc, lead and tin mineralisation indicating that the aluminous lead in soils is a very good indicator of the polymetalic mineralisation below.
The future is shaping up to be very exciting as Alphamin Resources step out laterally to explore the extent of the Basie system.
Alphamin Resources is a Canadian listed company focusing on tin. Their flagship project named Bisie is located in the democratic republic of Congo and their focus is on high grade tin.
Since the end of 2011 after raising 5 million dollars they have set up a head office in Goma of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have also set up an exploration camp on site at the flagship project as well as commenced a diamond drilling program of 2,800 meters.
The first results of that drilling program have been released which can be found on their website. There are two exciting factors which make Alphamin quite appealing. The first is the sheer size of the potential tin deposit and the second is the high grades they’re discovering which differentiate them from other tin companies.
Alphamin Resources is on track for its initial discovery of 500,000 tonnes of tin.
